We are a growing team of dedicated mental health professionals offering therapy and coaching services across North and South Carolina. At Pearl Counseling, we believe in creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment where individuals, teens, and families can heal, grow, and thrive.
Our practice offers both in-person services in Charlotte, NC and virtual sessions throughout the Carolinas. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, or major life transitions, we're here to support you every step of the way.
Our Practice
Founded by Marketa, Pearl Counseling is rooted in compassionate, personalized care. With deep experience across specialties including eating disorder therapy, teen counseling, trauma recovery, and transformational coaching, Marketa creates a supportive space for clients to feel understood, empowered, and equipped to move forward.
Meet Marketa Winfield, Psychotherapist
I bring extensive experience and expertise to my practice, having worked in various therapeutic roles across North Carolina. From 2020 to 2022, I served as the Lead Primary Therapist and Group Therapist at the Transformative Life Center/Transcend ED, where I guided individuals through their recovery journey with personalized care and support. My work focused on creating a safe and nurturing environment for clients to explore their emotions and develop healthier coping strategies.
Since 2022, I have also been a Psychotherapist and Partner at Montgomery Counseling Group. This role has allowed me to collaborate with other mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive therapeutic services to a diverse clientele.
